Orders and shipping
When will my order arrive?
Orders leave our fulfillment center in 1-2 business days. Standard shipping takes 3 to 5 business days and express takes 1 to 2. You'll receive a tracking link by email as soon as the carrier scans the package.
How much is shipping?
Standard shipping is $8.95 and is free on all orders over $150 in the US. No code needed: the cart applies it automatically. Express is $18.95.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet. We ship to all fifty states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and APO/FPO addresses. Join our email list and you'll be the first to know when we open international shipping.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Write to contact@aerafitwear.com as soon as possible. If the package hasn't been packed yet, we can swap the size, change the address, or cancel it. Once it leaves, we treat it as a return.
Sizing and fit
What size should I order?
Our size range goes from S to XL, equivalent to US sizes 4 to 18. The Size guide provides body measurements in inches (and centimeters). For leggings and shorts, size down if you want a more sculpting compression; for bras, size down if the band feels loose between two sizes.
Are the leggings squat-proof?
The HYPER fabric used on the leggings and shorts carries a high-opacity rating declared by the mill, at 280 gsm, the firmest weight in the collection. That's what makes them squat-proof. The tee uses a lighter 180 gsm knit that doesn't carry that rating, which is why it's built to layer over your bra.
Does the waistband roll down?
The waistband is high-rise and wide, and sits a bit higher than most American workout clothes. It's a Brazilian cut choice, and the reason it stays in place during squats and hip hinges.
What if it doesn't fit?
You have 30 days from delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and with tags attached. Returns & exchanges within the US are free, so it costs nothing to order two sizes and keep the one that fits.
Fabric and care
What is the fabric?
A nylon and spandex blend, knit in Brazil, chosen for its two-way stretch, sweat-wicking properties, and shape retention. The full composition is on each product page.
How should I wash it?
Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, inside out, with like colors. Air dry. No fabric softener, no bleach, no tumble dry, and no iron: softener creates a film on the fiber and destroys both sweat-wicking and compression.
Does the color fade?
No, with cold wash and air drying. Heat is what degrades the elastane and releases the dye, which is why the dryer is the one instruction we ask you never to ignore.
Payment and security
Is my payment secure?
Your card details are entered directly into Stripe's encrypted fields and never pass through our servers. Stripe is certified as a PCI Service Provider Level 1, the highest level available. We only store the last four digits and the card brand to identify the order.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay on supported devices. Prices are in US dollars.
Do you charge sales tax?
No. Orders ship from New Jersey, where clothing is exempt from sales tax, with no price limit. The price you see on the site is what you pay: nothing is added at checkout or later.

Where is AERA made?
Designed in New York and made in Brazil, in the region whose factories have supplied the technical activewear market for decades. It's a quality decision, not a cost one.
When does the collection launch?
The exclusive launch tote has sold out. The other campaign gifts remain available while supplies last.
Some items are marked as 'Coming soon'. Why?
Some pieces from the collection are still in final production. You can join the waitlist for each one separately, and we'll email you about that specific piece. Nothing else.
How do I talk to a real person?
Write to contact@aerafitwear.com. A person answers within one business day, Monday through Friday. No ticket numbers, no bots.
